While Seniors Worry About Meals, 100 Agents Guard Trump Brood In Aspen As Twitler Jets To Maralago Again

Never mind the days when Trump’s Twitter feed was littered with his complaints about President Obama and his family taking vacations.  Hypocrisy is like mother’s milk to Republicans.  Not only has the so-called President run up a larger vacation bill in one month than his predecessor did in a year, the privileged princes and princesses of his dynasty of deplorables is costing the taxpayer a king’s ransom.

Of course their spending is even more obscene under the backdrop of their tax-break-for-the-wealthy-masquerading-as-a-health-plan, and immoral Republican budget that decimates the vulnerable, starves the elderly and drags civilization back to Dark Ages standards.

According to the Daily Mail, “The three oldest Trump children will be heading west this weekend for some fun on the slopes, with Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric meeting up in Aspen for a family vacation.

It will be a reunion of sorts for the group, who take the same vacation together back in 2015 with their spouses and children, just a few months before their father announced he would be running for president.

The three Trump children will not be joined by the commander-in-chief on the trip, with President Trump taking off for Mar-a-Lago on Friday afternoon with third wife Melania and their son Barron.

It is still unclear what Tiffany’s plans are this weekend.

There is no word yet on where the Trump party will be staying, though it will likely be clear once the group arrives in town, as in addition to the six adults and eight children on the tip there will also be 100 Secret Service agents according to one source who spoke with The Aspen Times

…The cost of the tip is unclear, but it will likely be even more than the reported $3million bill that President Trump racks up every weekend he heads down to Palm Beach.

And it will likely all be covered by taxpayer money.”

Yes, you read that correctly.  One HUNDRED Secret Service agents to guard Ivanka, Uday and Qusay Trump, their trophy spouses and their tax writeoffs/children.

“The U.S. Secret Service signed a contract last week for more than $12,000 with the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club for rental ski equipment and clothing alone, so we can only imagine the full cost of the trip,” the Truth Examiner reports.

Meanwhile, just one of the so-called President’s weekend jaunts could pay to feed thousands of seniors for a year, as well as fund after school programs for the poor.

According to the website, Quartz, “The cost to taxpayers of one of President Trump’s weekends to his Florida home, Mar-a-Lago, has been estimated at $3.3 million, based in part on a weekend President Barack Obama took to South Florida when he was president. (The cost of flying Air Force One and security make up most of that). Including this coming weekend, Trump will have taken five trips to Mar-a-Lago since becoming president, for a grand total of about $16.5 million.

Meals on Wheels could feed 5,967 seniors for a year for that amount. After school programs could feed 114,583 poor children for a year for the same amount.

It’s a somewhat arbitrary measure, to be sure, but it highlights the jarring disconnect between a budget that cuts programs for poor people and research while the president takes trips to his warm weather home.”

A budget is about a nation’s priorities.  Clearly, Twitler’s priority is his own purient pleasure.
Trump used to be very upset about Presidential vacations, though.  I suppose he no longer sees the point of manufacturing outrage now that he’s killing time before impeachment by pretending to be President.

How much longer are we going to endure this monster, his brats and the Republican monstrosities that enable them?  How much longer?
