Mike Vanderboegh: Violence Inspiring Anti-Government Thug is Sucking on the Government Teat

Ain’t it just like a Republican to decry the system while simultaneously sucking on it’s teat? Mike Vanderboegh, of Pinson, Ala., former leader of a collection of microphallused thugs known as the Alabama Constitutional Militia, is yet another a case in point. Similar to the way we can set our clocks to the regular outing of anti-gay Republicans being exposed as self-loathing closet-cases bent on inflicting their manias on normal society, we can also randomly throw a rock at any Teabagger party to hit any one of the numerous hypocrites enjoying the freedom made possible by the Socialism of the government dole.
Mike Vanderboegh has garnered a lot of press in the last couple of days due to his inciting sore-loser moronic Cons like himself to break the windows of offices of Congressional Democrats who voted for Health Insurance Reform, which will keep Americans from dying or going bankrupt if they get sick. Given the utter hypocrisy and lack of irony these Teabagger types possess, many of them will themselves be afforded a more humane and comfortable existence due to the very Democrats they now seek to intimidate with their Nazi Brown Shirt tactics. Like other violent ideologues throughout history, Mike Vanderboegh and his functionally illiterate followers, angry that society manages to evolve despite their continual drag, have resorted to domestic terrorism in an attempt to frighten normal people (non-Republicans) into advancing their dead-ender agenda which, after 8 long years of Republican “governance,” has left the American middle class winning a race to the bottom.
Still, it is a testament to Liberal values that even pigs like Mike Vanderboegh can reap the benefit of our social safety net – in spite of their ignorance and ugliness.
Make no mistake, Mike Vanderboegh is as anti-American and as any Al-Qaeda terrorist. He, like all Cons, loathes our Constitutionally-limited democratic republic government of We The People as evidenced by his eagerness to inflict violence on the representatives the People duly elected to stand between them and rapacious corporations who have no allegiance to country or community, as well as the fact that his patriotic “country first” stance seems only to apply during Republican administrations.
Now that his hypocrisy (what else is new?) has been exposed, Vanderboegh felt the need to address it on one of his many blogs. His “reasoning” is the classic dance of justification and rationalization members of the “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” crowd employ when ultimately exposed as the frauds they are.
Here’s his justification in its entirety – (my comments in red):

I must admit that this question caused me a lot of heartache when I fell ill and couldn’t return to work. I, too, felt that it was hypocritical.
(Seriously… Call (Socialist) Whine 1 – 1 ! You ‘felt’ it was hypocritical but figured YOU were excused because you have a GOOD reason for needing it? Now my wife works and we have Blue Cross/Blue Shield through her employer. I never accepted Medicare because we could afford not to.

That said, at the time of the application for Disability several of my friends argued that I was being ridiculous, that I would never get back anything near the amount of what I paid in (and at $1300 per month, they’re right about that).

As you can see, Mike Vanderboegh hates America and rather than work within the system to change it through our hard-won democratic process, such as a patriot he professes to be would do, he seeks to force us to bend to his will through violence – like all terrorists. He calls his website, “The gathering place for a merry band of Three Percenters.”

He paid into it his whole life, why shouldn’t he take it? Liberals love to impress everyone with their righteous indignation but the truth is if gov’t hadn’t ‘created’ the social security SLUSH fund as a ploy to get cash, Vanderboegh would probably have a better retirement plan through a private company and you’d have nothing to bitch about – though I’m sure you’d find something.
As you know, paying into the system is not voluntary and whatever he gets, is OWED him – it is not a gift from big brother – it is HIS MONEY. The system now takes from someone to give to another because the gov’t decided they had the right to SPEND IT ALL – your having them voted in apparently being all the permission they needed. Why do you think you and I will be lucky if we see even half of our money back? It’s gone. Squandered on things like getting monkeys high and putting a rainforest in Iowa.

Hey, royce, I agree with you, if the man paid into the system, he SHOULD be able to get it back. I wish the government would let us all just take out every penny we paid into SS, and invest it wherever we wish. My money, for one would be a heck of a lot more than most older people have to live on when the government doles out bit by tiny bit what they have paid for.

I love to hear repug whiners justify taking Social Security disability by claiming “It’s my money!” If someone made $100,000 per year for 30 years, they would have paid in to Social Security $22,860 in taxes at 7.62%. A monthly benefit check of $1300 runs through the amount paid in in just under 18 months. After that, it is someone else’s money drawn for the monthly disability check and, later on, the retirement check. I am guessing that Vanderboegh paid in a lot less than the amount I used in my example. Someone ought to ask Social Security to take another look at him to see if he really is disabled; he seems pretty active.
