Here’s another Republican dirty trick that you can set your clock to – that is, another fervently anti-gay Republican lawmaker caught in the act of being himself - a self-loathing, sexually-repressed, hypocritical, homophobic, gay man inflicting his closeted manias on our society at large by seeking to suppress others like himself who have the courage to be themselves in the face of the discriminatory laws he champions.

This time, the self-loathing closeted anti-gay, gay man is California State Senator Roy Ashburn, who was pulled over in his state-issued vehicle and arrested for drunk driving after leaving a gay bar in the (gasp!) company of another man.

The Huffington Post reports:

Early Wednesday morning, State Sen. Roy Ashburn (R-Calif.) was pulled over and arrested for drunk driving. Sources report that Ashburn — a fierce opponent of gay rights — was driving drunk after leaving a gay nightclub; when the officer stopped the state-issued vehicle, there was an unidentified man in the passenger seat of the car. Read the rest of the HP article here.

Normal people (non-Republicans) know that for a person to identify as Republican, he or she is ikely suffering from some form of psychological deficiency. Whether it be Sociopathic greed, Malignant Narcissism, Stockholm Syndrome, willful ignorance, classist superiority complex, irrational fear of the “other”, need for authoritarian “daddy” figure to spy on them, or just plain low intelligence (as the recent American Sociological Association study found liberals and atheists are smarter than Repugs concluded).

Republicans are also inherent cowards most commonly evidenced by their psychopathic need to send others to die in wars they, themselves, avoid fighting. Another manifestation is displayed when Republicans who secretly harbor homosexual feelings and lack the courage to face the world as they truly are, rather manifest what is known as the reaction formation – a psychological defense mechanism that is characterized by the masking of “unacceptable” emotions by publicly and aggressively adopting the direct opposite behaviors.

If only these Republicans would get help for their manias rather than inflict them on a normal society, whose only crime is desperately trying to evolve in spite of their vociferous and regressive opposition.

Not that it will matter to their mouth-breathing “average” Stockholm-Syndrome suffering base hoping to one day join George W. Bush for a beer, but Politico has obtained a copy of the RNC’s secret plan to offer no real solutions to the nation, but continue to inject a steady diet of fear, lies and division down America’s already choking throat.

The Republican National Committee plans to raise money this election cycle through an aggressive campaign capitalizing on “fear” of President Barack Obama and a promise to “save the country from trending toward socialism.”

The strategy was detailed in a confidential party fundraising presentation, obtained by POLITICO, which also outlines how “ego-driven” wealthy donors can be tapped with offers of access and “tchochkes.”

The presentation was delivered by RNC Finance Director Rob Bickhart to top donors and fundraisers at a party retreat in Boca Grande, Florida on February 18, a source at the gathering said.

Kentucky Millionaire Senator Jim Bunning hold on extending unemployment benefits has been lifted.

This General in the Class War against the Middle Class expressed his disdain and apathy for millions of Americans unfortunate enough to be living in a time when ensuring the profit of the top one percent is the only concern for Republican and Democrat in Name Only legislators, by putting a hold on unemployment benefits extension claiming that his objection had to do with the deficit.

Of course, normal people (non-Republicans) know that to call a Republican a hypocrite is to be redundant… still let me point out the NUMEROUS other middle-class DESTROYING policies which were deficit funded that Bunning had no problem supporting – such as, the 2008 war supplemental, 2001 Bush Tax cuts for the rich, 2003 Bush tax cuts for the rich and 2003 Bush giveaway to Big Pharma. In addition, Bunning (a millionaire who’s only concern when stopping the extension of benefits was his missing a basketball game), voted against “pay-go” which would have ensured that EVERYTHING was paid for rather than added to the deficit, thus proving once again that Republicans exist solely to ingratiate themselves and their wealthy benefactors, confident that the “average” people who support them at the risk of their own demise will be lulled into an ignorant amnesia by Corporate America’s protection racket – Fox News and Glenn Beck.

In addition, another Republican pig, Senator Jon Kyl took the opportunity to kick unemployed Americans when they are down by ignorantly stating while safely ensconced in his ivory tower, that extending life saving benefits is a disincentive to get a job! Of course, the Republican drive to ship our manufacturing base to China and the job killing NAFTA, CAFTA and GATT were not mentioned.

I just hope I live long enough to see the day when the American Middle Class rises up and takes this country back from the Plutocrats who are quite happily turning creating aneo-feudal state.

Read more about Bunning’s whole sickening display of class warfare here.

It is often said that if you want to truly know a person, then meet their friends. With this truth in mind, it turns out that (not surprisingly), cult-philosopher of the right-wing and libertarian crowd, Ayn Rand, was a big fan of the disgusting sadist William Edward Hickman, who kidnapped and dismembered a 12 year old girl in 1927.

In her journals, Rand glowingly wrote that Hickman, “is born with a wonderful, free, light consciousness — [resulting from] the absolute lack of social instinct or herd feeling. He does not understand, because he has no organ for understanding, the necessity, meaning, or importance of other people … Other people do not exist for him and he does not understand why they should.”

Normal Americans (non-Republicans) spent the past year bearing witness to the clutches of teabaggers protesting health care (of all things) while waving various signs extolling Ayn Rand philosophy, believing themselves to be the “Atlas” who would be sure to shrug off the burdens that the unwashed masses inflict on their superiority when they dare demand a society that works for everyone, but truth be told, these teabaggers themselves are often the very “humanity of mud to be ground underfoot” and “fuel to be burned” that Rand assigned to the working class.

Ayn Rand herself has been called a textbook sociopath characterized by self-preoccupation as well as unapologetic lack of empathy. In fact, a commitment to selfishness and a rejection of altruistic behavior are elevated to the the height of morality in her worldview.

Much like today’s right-wing bloviators with an elevated sense of self importance, Rand considered herself one of the greatest philosophers of all time, recommending the “three A’s”—Aristotle, Aquinas, and Ayn Rand. It’s quite disturbing to think that many of the elite shaping policy today attach themselves to Rand’s “Objectivism,” described by author and one-time Objectivist Michael Prescott as, “an ethics of rational self-interest from which any altruistic motives or duties are excluded. There follows a defense of pure laissez-faire capitalism, the only socioeconomic system that gives free rein to profit-seeking selfishness. Reason, egoism, individualism, capitalism – Objectivism in a nutshell.”

Its easy to see why Republican philosophy would attract sociopaths. Elevating Malignant Narcissism as a political philosophy is a way of justifying self-serving malevolence, anti-social uncharitableness and downright unkindness – even glorifying it. Ayn Rand ideologues include Alan Greenspan (who publicly stated that his job was to create “worker insecurity” as a way of keeping the Serfs from rising up against their Sovereign Lords and whose “supply-side” economic fraud has plunged the world towards yet another Republican Great Depression while making a handful of people filthy rich), Clarence Thomas (who assigns Rand’s “The Fountainhead” as required reading for all his law clerks), Rush Limbaugh (who rails against pro-social behavior such as community service as something only to be engaged in by societies’ losers) Glenn Beck (who also encourages his followers to continue contributing nothing to society and whose “9/12 march on Washington was partially sponsored by the Ayn Rand Center for Individual Rights.)

Normal people (non-Republicans) view Rand’s affinity for a self-serving, child murdering and dismembering psychopath as a “real man” as a window into a dark mind to be, at the most, analyzed but not emulated. I’m sure this disturbing revelation won’t trigger a mass “road to Damascus” moment for her followers – quite the contrary. No doubt they will reach into the bag of Republican Dirty Tricks and pull out the old standard of justification by any means most commonly by attacking the messenger – far be it for a right winger to abandon their sick philosophy when, according to their self-serving pathology, society is supposed to adjust itself around their sick philosophy.

It’s a safe bet that we would never find a highly evolved person singing the superior praises of selfishness and the virtues of a child-murdering sociopath who’s crime is far more heinous than these words can describe. Read Mark Ames‘ article for more about Ayn Rand’s sick mind and the entire account of William Hickman’s gruesome crime here.

Personally, I hope that the right wingers make good on their threats and “Go John Galt” on us. This is a reference to and Ayn Rand character in “Atlas Shrugged” who triggers the collapse of society by simply refusing to work. Unlike when the proletariat strike, the Galt-inspired rich go on strike and the whole world comes tumbling down. More than a work of fiction, Rand’s tome is a nod to the inflamed sense of self importance conservatives have; their Malignant Narcissism actually convincing them that the rest of us freeloaders and parasites can’t survive without them.

Let these twisted souls convince each other that they the pivots that turn the Earth’s access, but we must never reorganize our society to suit the sickest among us.

Normal Americans (non-Republicans) are aware that Fox “News” is not an actual “News” channel, but a propaganda wing of Corporate America and it’s operatives in government, mainly the Republican Party, tasked with the sole mission to make Americans stupid enough to vote Republican and thus, for their own indentured servitude.

In a testament to the disdain Fox executives actually feel for their viewers and their knowledge of the low intelligence of the same, Fox News brazenly operates its protection racket, confident that the outright lies they peddle will never cause their moronic viewers to stop supporting Republicans – the very political party that exists to ensure the impossible “American Dream” remains only a dream as they turn America into a Feudal state.

By now, many people are aware of the independent study which found that Faux News viewers were more apt to believe outright untruths in regard to the illegal invasion of Iraq and issues facing our country. In the days of Edward R. Morrow or Walter Cronkite, this would have been an utter failing and heads would have rolled in network news departments, but the executives at Fox still sit enshrined on their thrones, comfortable in the knowledge that their jobs are secure as long as they continue to mislead the loyal scores of village idiots whose boob-tubes sit locked to their channel.

Fox News’ mission is to support the myth that the economic and political Hell that Republicans ALWAYS leave in their wake is solely coincidental, and can be blamed not on the economic royalists who use their positions of power to ingratiate themselves, but on the very systems that are meant to protect the People from the exploitations of the powerful in an attempt to create a society that works for everyone.

This deliberately misleading fear tactic is employed to imply that the ACTUAL DEMOCRATIC PROCESS of majority rule is somehow an aberration to be vilified. Fox News’ Lies can only be attributed to their fear of Democrats actually passing any form of REAL reform – something Republicans and Fox can’t abide as their egregious practices of using the American People simply as the hosts for parasitic corporations to suck profit depends on the continuation of the status quo. Read more at Media Matters.

The Public Option passing through Reconciliation is the greatest fear of Republicans and their Corporate benefactors as everything else just nibbles around the edges of reform, whereas having a Public Option that does not need 30% profit for CEO bonuses but can spend 95% of premiums on actual care, would be the end of windfall profits and golden plated opulence for the insurance racket.
The more outrageous the lies in their floundering counterattack, the more we know we are on the right track.
This is how we know we must keep fighting for the Public Option.

Call your Congressperson and Representative to tell them to fight for the Public Option.
If only the Democrats could give us something to support! Passing the Public Option may breathe life into the Democratic Party base in the midterms. As it stands now, most of us will still be too busy taking the knives out of our backs show up.

The conclave of white supremacists, banksters, war-criminals and their historically ignorant sycophants known as the CPAC convention closed its festivities with a speech by the admitted emotionally tortured manic depressive alcoholic Glenn Beck. The emotionally unstable Fox “News” propagandist’s pro-corporate rhetoric likened normal people (Liberals/Progressives) to a “cancer” much the same way Hitler railed “The Jews are a Cancer on the breast of Germany”.

The sole reason that Beck and his right wing brethren in the corporate media exist is to run cover for the institutions of the elite who are actively turning “The Land of the Free” into The United States of Serfs and Lords”. The particularly pervasive meme purports that indentured servitude to transnational corporations equals (=) freedom and the original intent of the Constitution is to facilitate 1% of the population riding 99% of the population to the bank unfettered by the pesky government!

Beck and the rest of the Republican Media Misinformation Machine have tapped into the rage that average Americans feel as the result of being under the boot of middle-class-killing Republican policies for the past 30 years. This inconvenient truth is purposely misdirected and funneled into a populist rage against the very progressive policies that created the middle class in the first place and have the poor dupes crying, “liberals are bad!” without a sense of irony as they collect their unemployment check, Social Security and/or want government to keep its hands off their Medicare.

Bill Maher summed it up brilliantly in the closing of Real Time where he succinctly laid out the fact that the Teabaggers, rather than being a populist movement, was in actuality a cult.

People in cults believe in ridiculous unattainable goals like “edifice reduction by way of giant tax cuts”

Cults have their own vocabularies: Freedom means Guns, Diplomacy means Weakness, Elitist means Reader, and Socialist means Black.

Cult members attribute all the problems to one person – in the Teabaggers case, this one:

A poll showed 90% of Teabaggers thought that taxes had gone up or stayed the same under Obama. Only two percent thought they went down. The simple reality is: for 95% of working families, taxes went down.

Only 2 percent of the people in a movement about taxes and named for a tax revolt have the slightest idea about what is going on – with taxes.

Watch the whole clip here:

Make no mistake. We are in a class war and the elites are winning. The Economic Royalists view the Constitution solely as an apparatus to concentrate wealth further into their hands and make the middle class as “quaint” as the Geneva Conventions – all with the “patriotic” agreement of those most hobbled and exploited.

This economic war is deliberately shadowed in swatches of misinformation, some of which is couched in a so-called “culture war” as another way to convince average dupes to support the side in the economic war which is actively destroying them.

From the wreckage of the Republican policies that caused the Great Depression, FDR gave us a “New Deal”. This was a social contract that attempted to realize the dreams of the Founder’s intent to create “a more perfect union” by uplifting our nation as a whole and put the power the power of OUR government on the side of the People as well as set standards and regulations designed to “promote the general welfare”.
These were a guarantee that workers be paid adequately, provided safe working environments, and ensured a retirement, which would maintain one’s dignity in old age after a lifetime of work. This system also ensured all citizens a decent education, regardless of one’s economic station at birth – and if FDR had lived to complete his fourth term in office, a Second Bill of Rights that would have guaranteed all citizens a job with a living wage, freedom from unfair competition and monopolies, a home, an education, recreation and health care (much like every other industrialized nation on Earth currently does).

A system like this is anathema to Republican (and sadly, some Democratic) sociopaths whose only motivation is to secure as much profit and power for themselves as is possible. Period.

The American Aristocracy are currently winning in their mission to dismantle the New Deal and anything else that gets in the way of their profits – even if that means sentencing another human being to die without lifesaving medical treatment. That fact is a sad example of the moral bankruptcy of the Republican worldview.

Although these Republican sociopaths wrap themselves so unabashedly in the flag and adorn their lapels with “made in China” American flag pins, they fundamentally loathe democracy because democracies bend towards democratic socialism.

In the gap that is the disconnect created by the Republican attack on public education and their lack of intellectual curiosity cherished as a badge of honor, steps the likes of Glenn Beck who turns his audience’s ignorance into a fear that any attempt to restrain corporate power or promote the interests of the middle class has something to do with “Hitler.”

These are the corporatists who are currently running our government and promoting a hierarchical system ruled by money who we believed Barack Obama would be standing up to when we sent him to Washington with a mandate for “Change we could believe in.”

After a year of disappointment, watching Obama capitulate to the Right and betray the progressive base who elected him, I’m beginning to believe that the only way We The People will ever rebuild the middle class is when the daily lives of millions stand in stark contrast to the right wing propaganda machine telling them that it’s the liberal’s fault. That is the time when the idiots who clap whenever Sarah Palin says “tort reform,” not understanding that they are (once again) blindly supporting something that limits the power of the PEOPLE over the corporations who harm them, will understand that they have been the willing accomplice in their own demise.

As it stands today, without real “change we can believe in,” it’s going to get a lot, lot, worse before it gets better.

If any of you brain-dead Republicans who troll this site need more proof that your support of a morally-bankrupt collection of ghouls with a sole mission to ingratiate a small ruling elite at the expense of the rest of us, then look no further than the Congressional Republicans behavior surrounding the economic stimulus bill.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act – an attempt to keep the United States from plunging into yet ANOTHER Republican Great Depression triggered by greed-centered Republican policies – was given a big fat goose-egg (zero votes) from Republican lawmakers in spite of fact that concessions to their middle-class killing, ideologically based “ideas” were included in the final bill.

Now, the conservative leaning Washington Times is reporting that while opposing the stimulus package with their vote and for the sake of the camera, Republicans are touting the triumphs in their districts that resulted from the bill.

Letters to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, reveal the blatant hypocrisy of Republican lawmakers’ as they publicly criticize the overall stimulus package while privately lobbying for its funds!

This duplicity is just part of their strategy to game the unwashed masses into voting against their best interests and supporting Republican candidates by making it appear that Barack Obama was unable to fix the PROBLEMS THAT REPUBLICANS CREATED!

Republicans would rather continue to have the American People suffer than work with Democrats and use our government as it was intended – to advance the interests of EVERYONE- not just the top 1%. Simply, Republicans play an endless game with our lives with the sole purpose of tipping the scales in favor of the rich – no matter what the cost in suffering payed by those most unmercifully affected by Republican policies.

Republicans in power know that they must tenuously turn the Land of the Free into The United States of Serfs and Lords while APPEARING to be the victims of the very tactics they employ, rather than the catalyst of catastrophes that they actually are.

With this truth so blatantly apparent, someone must shake President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and wake them from the dream of “bipartisanship” they pine for like battered spouses pining for their abusers.

The fact is, Republicans are so fixated on their mission to create a neo-feudal nation of serfs and lords that they won’t let ANY relief to the American People be implemented as that would be a political victory for Barack Obama – and that is something Republicans cannot abide.

The game plan is simple… OPPOSE EVERYTHING that this administration elected with a mandate for change is trying to do to clean up the disastrous mess left in the wake of Republican policies.

Meanwhile, the suffering of the American People is REAL and these same duplicitous lawmakers must come back to their home districts and pretend they have the best interest of their constituents in mind, so they smile broadly and pose with gigantic prop stimulus checks at various ribbon-cutting ceremonies that would never have happened without the bill they vociferously opposed.

With the cover of lies provided by Corporate America’s protection racket, Fox News, Republicans easily let various disingenuous myths, such as the “Barack Obama is a Socialist myth (I wish), fall from their lips, secure in the knowledge that the lies will go unchallenged.

In spite of this latest example of the blatant hypocrisy of Republicans, Republicans lawmakers then have no qualms riling their willfully ignorant, deliberately misled constituents with sudden panic concerning deficits – in spite of the fact that Republican administrations, beginning with their patron saint of deficit spending Ronald Reagan, began the trend by raising the national debt from $700 billion to $3 trillion, and transformed the United States from being the world’s largest international creditor to the world’s largest debtor nation by tripling the national debt and borrowing more money from foreign governments than all previous administrations COMBINED! The sad difference is that Saint Ronald Reagan engaged in his drunken deficit spending, not to pull the American People off the precarious ledge Republicans had left them on, but for the sole intention of making the rich richer and turning the middle class into the working poor.

Normal people (non-Republicans) know that facts don’t matter to Republicans so they never let them get in the way of their ideology. Republican lawmakers have become masters of this populist kabuki dance they feign for the sake of the “everyman” idiots who sidle up to them with the false belief their capitulation will somehow ease the blows.

Normal People (non-Republicans) also know that the mission of Republican politicians, simply, is to further their agenda of creating a neo-Feudal, Corporatist state while APPEARING to work for sake of the people in spite of actively working to keep us in our subservient place.

When DLC, “Republican Light,” New Democrat, White House chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel called liberals “fucking retarded,” I couldn’t agree more. We are retarded for believing that Barack Obama would govern like the populist he purported to be on the campaign trail.

Recently, close to the one-year anniversary of Barack Obama’s inauguration, I was revisiting one of his stump speeches but had to shut off the radio. The inspiration I once felt has been replaced by the anger of betrayal. It was all I could do not to throw the radio out the window but the extremely challenging economic times forced me to restrain myself.

Candidate Obama had me convinced that he was equally outraged about the Republican (and Corporate Democrat) assault on the American worker from the time of the Reagan revolution.

30 years of Reaganomics and Clintonomics have shipped our manufacturing base to China, reduced Unionization, increased the price of education (remember FREE community college?), stagnated wages and made the American Dream somesething you had to be asleep to believe in. The American People are seriously hurting but media ownership deregulation (thanks for nothing Bill Clinton) as well as the elimination of the Fairness Doctrine allows our corporate overlords to disseminate lies designed to convince the Sheeple that their problems are the fault of the liberals who, in reality, have always worked to ensure that the average worker gets seat at the table.

Yet, incessant right wing propaganda has actually convinced average Republicans to align their interests with the interests of their corporate overlords who return the favor by viewing them solely as hosts for their parasitic selves to suck profit from. They are convinced that indentured servitude to trans-national corporations equals (=) freedom! Teabaggers actually gave Sarah Palin a rousing, enthusiastic applause line when she spoke about the need for Tort reform. Most of these Teabaggers don’t even know what a “Tort” is, but no matter – this “small government” crowd pines for the day when big government would step in between you and your right to be compensated if the actions of a corporation hurt, kill or damage yourself or a loved one. Teabaggers are so dumb. I digress…

Anyway…

With the eight years of Hell and George W. Bush fresh in the minds of the American People, in stepped Barack Obama who did not just run a political campaign but a movement for CHANGE!

I, like many liberals, were retarded enough to want to believe Obama was a champion of the People.

Perhaps it was his true, “only in America” story. His single mom upbringing, his mixed race. The fact that he didn’t get a legacy admission to an Ivy League school like the elitist cowboy, George W. Bush, but worked his way through school on his own merit. Obama knew what it was like to pay off a student loan debt. He regaled us with a personal story about his mother fighting with her health insurance racket company while dying of cancer.

But “Candidate Obama” was checked at the door of the Oval Office. Once securely ensconced in the role of President, Obama surrounded himself with throwbacks to the Clinton White House. This was the FIRST sign that liberals would have to brace themselves for disappointment. I mean, for Christ’s sake… if we wanted the second coming of the Clinton Administration, HILARY would have been our nominee! We were promised CHANGE! Oh, never mind.

Our fears became fact when Clinton “Republican Light” advisers continued many of the economic Bush policies that have turned “The Land of the Free” into “The United States of Serfs and Lords!” And don’t even get me started on the war!

Now Obama comes out and states that he does not “begrudge” the multibillion-dollar bonuses of Wall Street executives.

Ironically, perhaps it is also because of exactly WHO Obama is – the fact that he is of mixed race – that drives his psyche to want to be all things to all people. He still pines for the bipartisanship like a battered spouse pines for his abuser. Face it Obama. Republicans are JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU. What more is it going to take for him to get the fact that he will have to ram his policies through without the “bipartisanship” he longs for. It doesn’t matter how many times he references “tax cuts” or Saint “Ronald Reagan”, Republicans want Obama to fail and they are willing to take the entire country down with them. They are already at the top. Whatever chaos they create are well outside their gated communities.

Cons are TRUE dead-ender ideologues. Like a cult they hold on to their doctrines in spite of all evidence to the contrary. They won’t be happy until we are securely ensconced in a true Feudal system of a small, elite ruling class, and a large underclass of labor to exploit. Either that, or their climate change denial plunges all our coastal cities into the sea – even if that Apocalyptic scenario comes to fruition, Cons will STILL be crying “tax cuts for the rich!” like the Easter Island priests cried “build one more Moai and the crops will return!”

FDR’s policies made the American middle class possible – before that time we were a nation of serfs and lords. Roosevelt called them “Economic Royalists” and they called him “A Traitor to His Class.” FDR, in turn, proudly boasted that he welcomed their hatred! Read and listen to FDR’s Madison Square Garden speech here.

With the worst economic collapse since the first Great Depression courtesy (once again) of Republican policies, our nation could do well to openly recognize where the blame lies. Yet, Barack Obama insists on placating Republicans by including EVEN MORE of their middle-class killing policies in legislation designed to bail out our sinking ship, and by doing so he weakens any REAL recovery while legitimizing the Republican worldview. Could you imagine FDR getting anything done if he had decided to pretend that the blame for economic depression wasn’t squarely on the shoulders of Banksters and their appendages in Congress?

Watch FDR call banksters to the carpet:

Do right-wingers actually think that their capitulation to the wishes of their economic sovereign lords will ease the sting of their lashes across their shoulders? Who knows? Much of their easily tripped outrage is based in ignorance of one form or another and that is the Achilles’ heel the Economic Royalists exploit. Teabagger rallies are not made up of the well-traveled, well-read, and intellectually curious. Manipulating them is easy. Their fearful buttons of racism have been primed and ready to be pushed from well before the time of the “Willy Horton” ad.

Banksters just continue to laugh and ride them all the way to the bank while they watch them fight over the scraps with the ones they should be allied with.

Traditionally, everyone was aware that Democrats were the party of the people, while Republicans were the party of Economic Royalists. The two parties’ ideologies were diametrically opposed and can basically be summed up like this: Republicans believe that government must be “small” enough to allow them to profit unfettered by laws and regulations, leaving them free to rape the land and exploit the worker as long as the bottom line improves. Democrats, conversely, traditionally believed that We The People ARE the government and, as such, that government sets the playing field for the good of society as a whole. When Democrats forget that core ideology, and adopt Republican principles because they’ve been listening to too much right wing radio, the people stay home on election day.

The lesson for elected Democrats should be… when Dems act like DEMS the people stand behind them. I truly hope that Barack Obama, a man elected on a MOVEMENT FOR CHANGE, remembers that the only reason FDR did not get elected to a FIFTH TERM was because he was dead. If Obama continues to listen to the advice of his DLC, New Democrat, Republican Light advisors, we know that the Bankster influence in Washington is beyond repair. If that’s the case, the plight of 99% of the population will have to get much, much worse – to the point where the messages on Corporate America’s propaganda outlets cannot drown out the reality of sufferings experienced in daily life. When that time comes, working people will have no choice but to wake up from their Glenn Beck stupor and usher in REAL “change” on the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Spewing dead-end Republican talking points like a perpetual regurgitation machine, Palin found an enthusiastic reception this past Sunday on Corporate America’s protection racket and propaganda channel, Fox News, where she went over the same old dead end policies that have brought America to the brink of disaster with a wink and a smile and promised more of the same if God wills her to run for President.

Fresh from her speaking engagement at the first ever convention of Teabaggers where Palin was caught amateurishly referencing cheat-notes of the same old dead-end Republican talking points written on her hand, she poured on her “folksy charm” wrapped in her MIFL (Maverick I’d Like to ‘F*%#’) brand – cleverly coupled with the intent to further confuse the barely literate “everyman” Republican constituents who “want their county back” from the African American their fellow citizens legally elected to help protect them from the exploitations of the very corporations they loudly rally to support.

F*%#ing Ameuture

More appalling than the notes themselves was their content as it seems that Palin has trouble remembering, not the nuances of complex policy issues, but about her supposed core beliefs. More on that at the Huffington Post.

Palin also displayed a stunning level of arrogance and complete lack of irony for, once again (yawn), criticizing President Obama for his use of a teleprompter- an argument that has lost it’s bite given the President’s recent unscripted Q&A with Republicans in where he displayed a complete mastery of policy and the issues without aid of the pre-screened questions Palin relies on since the time unrehearsed responses served only to reveal her ignorance to the delight of the nation’s comedians.

Given the fact that Republicans cry “spending cuts” and “tax cuts” like the Rapa Nui Priest of Easter Island cried, “build more Moai and the crops will return,” it’s hard to believe that Palin would need to use her hillbilly teleprompter hand scribble in order to remember the middle-class killing, Republican policies she incessantly insists will create Republican Utopia in spite of the boom and bust, Depression/Recession reality these policies always trigger.

In the face of the calamities Republican policies have inflicted on a once-vibrant middle class, the Alaska half-term Governor, Republican Vice Presidential candidate and now professional social media updater, incredulously believes the normal people of the United States (non-Republicans) would be lucky to have a President known for her ideologically-based, disjointed grasp of complex issues and sophmoric critisisms of her perceived opponants.

The sobering reality is that with the official corporatization of America by Judicial coup d’état in which the right wing activist judges (confirmed through Democratic Party ‘bipartisan’ capitulation) reneged on promises of restraint and respect for stare decisis and overturned a century of settled law on Mussolini-Style fascism in America, Palin would be the perfect corporate puppet if our sovereign corporate overlords should chose to sponsor her in the 2012 elections.

Given Palin’s Pentecostal “the end is near, Jesus is coming, it’s God’s will” religiosity, no doubt she see’s herself as a pawn in the great cosmic chess game between her mythical Man on a Cloud and his Cloven-hoofed adversary. God help us if she succeeds in her efforts.

Get involved with Move to Amend to end corporate personhood. Contact your lawmaker and the White House (phone number 1-202-456-1111). This “Corporations are People,” destruction of “We The People” must be stopped – TODAY.

As President Obama’s continues to pine for Republicans like a battered spouse pining for his abuser, lets not fool ourselves… Republicans have no interest in tackling the enormous problems their dead-ender policies have inflicted on our nation due to the fact that they are not sharing the same reality as normal people.

Frank Shaefer put it best when he said, “a village cannot reorganize village life to suit the village idiot“ when referring to those (mostly Republicans) who believe that problems facing our planet are not to be tackled because Jesus will be right down to smite the wicked. Now the research commissioned by Markos Moulitsas for the Daily Kos website conducted by Research 2000, the nonpartisan research firm confirms the worst concerns of normal people (non-Republicans) that the “Party of No” is no more to be reasoned with than a child can be reasoned out of the belief of the monster in their closet after they blame it for wetting the bed.

The research is fascinating; but it would be hilarious if it weren’t for the fact that the Republican Party and the disconnected fools that support it were not currently so successful in their mission to turn “The Land of the Free” into “The United States of Serfs and Lords” with the American Taliban securely enshrined in the halls of power to keep the Sheeple from demanding their reward on Earth rather than in Heaven.

Ed Schultz and Markos Moulitsas discuss the new Daily Kos/Research 2000 poll revealing the crazy views of Republican voters:
