Does anyone remember Bill Rice? I do. He was the Rethug who had his finger bit off by a health reform supporter after Rice sucker punched him. The incident was featured in one of the original posts I did here at RDT titled: “Pay or Die Supporter Gives Us the Finger – Literally”

Now Fake News’ Neil Cavuto has taken Rice out of mothballs as the anecdotal argument justifying the wave of right-wing terrorism incited by Republican propagandists – as if to say, “see! Liberals are violent too!” Too bad Repug whiners can’t seem to get their stories straight.

He’s had almost a year to rewrite the tale, and that’s how far Cavuto had to reach to find anything akin to the terrorism Rethugs perpetrate on normal America. Anyone who merely peruses today’s headlines can find Rethugs, not only inciting violence, but treasonously working to overthrow our duly elected President. Still, Cavuto does try rather pathetically to twist himself into a pretzel to make this one incident, where a liberal defended himself from a right-wing assault, seem comparable. Unsurprisingly, Cavuto also continues to cite the stray bullet that accidentally hit Eric Cantor’s office as if it were an intentional attack. No wonder independent studies revealed that Faux News viewers are hopelessly misinformed about reality – that is clearly by DESIGN.

In the incident’s latest incarnation, Bill Rice is an innocent passerby who only stopped to survey whether or not the Code Pink and MoveOn.com crowd was paying proper deference to his “hero” son who had just enlisted to fight in Corporate America’s oil wars. When satisfied with the going’s on, Rice was innocently making his way back towards his car when a crazed liberal, no doubt enraged by Rice’s unapologetic patriotism and completely hetero manly scent, locked in on Rice, hurling unprovoked pejoratives, and made a b-line through the crowd to assault him. Rice was forced to defend himself by turning his compassionate conservative hands into fists of fiscal fury and in the scuffle, the lunatic lefty bit his pinky off!

Normal people know that the only reason Republican politicians go through the motions of political office, is to rig the game in favor of the corporations they truly work for.  Nothing speaks to that more than their recent vote in favor of rape.
